Infinity Pendants: Jewelry For Eternity

The concept of infinity is very difficult for us to grasp. We live in time and space, so the idea of something that goes on and on forever is hard to understand, as it is not part of our reality. All the things in the world around us are finite.

We see products that were created at some point and will be discarded as useless at some point in the future. Each day has a beginning and an end with many beginnings and endings throughout it with the passing of the seconds, minutes and hours. We are born into our newly formed physical bodies, and we die and leave them behind. Beginning and ending, beginning and ending.

Pondering the concept of infinity is an interesting passtime. We all have things that we wish could go on forever. We may long for the simplicity and innocence of our lives when we were younger, or for our children to stay young so they will always like us, or for the ability to eat an infinite amount of chocolate without any consequences to our health or physical appearance.

The symbol for infinity is almost as interesting as the concept itself. The curves that arc around in a figure eight can be followed with the eyes or traced with a pen over and over, without ending. Although the same lines are passed, it is with a new stroke each time.

This symbol is quite feminine in some respects. The graceful loops that twist peacefully around on themselves are elegant and fluent. Although the symbol is a strong and noble one in some ways, it is also gentle and soothing.

The sign for infinity is the perfect symbol for a woman to wear as jewelry. When crafted out of precious metals, the curves sparkle as they catch the light, and when gemstones are embedded in the symbol, it becomes all the more elegant and beautiful.

Infinity pendants are a wonderful way to display this graceful figure. Infinity pendants can be worn around the neck, hanging delicately below a woman's throat. They also come in other varieties such as infinity bracelets from which an infinity charm might hang, and infinity earrings. Any of these items are the perfect accessory for a graceful, beautiful woman. Or they can be combined as a lovely set.

Besides just being a gorgeous piece of jewelry, this symbol speaks of things that continues forever. They can be given or worn as a symbol of the love you feel for someone, a love that will last. It can remind the wearer of things that are more important than the material things around them, things that will last far beyong the life of their possessions or passing fancies.
